What Does "38 Tour Spec" Mean for Evnroll Putters?Updated 16 days ago
Tour Spec refers to our 38" configuration with a 370g head and a 17" oversized grip. Many refer to this configuration as "Counterbalance".
The 38" Tour Spec is designed to give you a more stable, controlled putting feel — similar to a counterbalance putter — but it’s not exactly the same.
Like a counterbalance, it uses a longer shaft and a heavier grip to shift more weight above your hands, which helps quiet the wrists and smooth out your stroke. The difference is that the Tour Spec keeps a more traditional setup compared to some counterbalance putters, which can be much longer or more upright.
Think of the 38 Tour Spec as a modern take on counterbalance — more balanced, more compact, and great for golfers who want that added stability without going full armlock.
The longer shaft, paired with a heavier putter head simulate a putter with "counterbalance" properties, but the grip/shaft itself are not weighted any heavier at the top.
This setup promotes a pendulum-style stroke with minimal wrist movement. Often used by tour professionals, it helps maintain face stability and consistent tempo.
