Adjusting Putter Length?Updated 16 days ago
If you're customizing your putter's length — either making it shorter or longer — it's important to understand how that affects the feel and performance of your putter. One key factor is head weight.
🔻 Cutting the Shaft Shorter?
For every 1 inch you cut off, you should add 15g of head weight
➡️ This helps maintain proper balance and swing weight.
🔺 Making the Shaft Longer?
For every 1 inch you add, you should remove 15g of head weight
➡️ This prevents the putter from feeling too heavy or sluggish during the stroke.
🏌️ Special Case: 38" Tour Spec Putters
Our 38” Tour Spec models are the only putters that require a heavier head weight to stay balanced at that longer length.
These come pre-weighted specifically to match the extended shaft and maintain feel and stability.
